Favourite Design Larger Than Life 2014 Installations at SingaPlural 2014

Design Larger Than Life 2014 at £SingaPlural 2014

Five outdoor installations invite visitors to immerse themselves into their works. They are designed to interact, and evoke playful responses and emotive expression. These will decorate and enhance Dhoby Ghaut Green (outside Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station) until end of March 2014.

Here are two of our favourites:

Spectrum by Claudio Colucci CEO & Creative Director of Claudio Colucci Design

This installation immerses visitors in the fundamentals of design through a spectrum of colours, form and space. The visual treat of shapes, colour and spatial wonder transforms the space into welcoming area to come together, rest and interact.

Enjoy in the view the structure as a whole from afar and walk into the structure to remain amongst the colourful nylon ropes and be inspired by this work of wonder.

Linea (next the Spectrum) is a series of furniture by Creativeans. Formed by basic geometries that can be transformed into different sitting positions, they are great for gatherings and parties to enhance interaction with the furniture and one another.

Through its form, Linea brings awareness to the public about the forms around them.

A Piece of Sky by Danovel & wynk Collaborative

These eye catching  ’tents’ are inspired by origami and serves as a sanctuary for park goers, allowing them to rest and seek respite from the urban environment. Visually, the contorted spaces within the origami ‘tents’ form visual portals between the user and the sky. Now all you need to do is bring out the Japanese tea set.
