Cooking can be inspiring and fun especially if your class is conducted in a well lit and modern kitchen. Check out spanking new edutainment culinary studio, CULINARY ON. As fancy as the name of this new 7,000sqft “cooking school” may be, it offers a bright and modern kitchen that you’d love to cook in and mingle with other equally enthusiastic cooking fans like you.
The largest cooking studio in Asia, this studio offers a culinary playground concept that boosts the excitement in our cooking parties. This is the ideal place for cooking parties, master classes, wine pairing and teambuilding activities for a group as large as 200. It has a conference room and four event areas with its own cooking stations, chef table and a bar, and a choice from more than 300 dishes and 30 ready theme sets from all over the world. These master classes are subdivided into two main groups: National cuisines and Themed parties (such as Night in Rome or Bakery Class).
Every detail has been looked into so you wouldn’t have to worry a single bit, as each master class session is hosted by an executive chef, a sous chef, an event master, a bar man and a photographer. Under the attentive guidance of an experienced culinary team, you and your guests will get to whip up three fabulous dishes in three hours. With the help of modern technology, guests can follow iPad-based step-by-step recipes instead of having to look up the white board.

What I learnt that day: One thing I unlearned that day was to stop breaking an egg by hitting the shell against the edge of a bowl or the cooking pan, as there’s a higher chance for the bits of egg shell falling into the bowl together with the egg yolk and white.
